First of all, keep dust of the speakers Every now and then, use a brush or duster to remove dust on the speakers. Please careful and make sure it doesn't get inside the net of the speaker or the interiors as it affects the performance. Occasionally, use a vacuum cleaner to suck up the dust, You can also use a blower to blow away the dust from the inside.
Secondly, clean them regularly. Do not use liquid cleaners though because the fluid will damage the amplifiers. Then, keep clear of metals. Especially those that are drawn to magnets or any magnetic sources as this can damage the build-in electromagnet.
Furthermore, cool it. Stock speakers do not usually come with a proper thermal design so keep them away from direct sunlight. Use a piece of cloth or even a sun reflection to keep sunlight from hitting your speakers at the back of the car.
Finally is volume down. Do not play your music too loudly. This forces resulting in the speakers voice coil breaking. If you want a louder sound,install more speakers.
